Foolish, foolish US.

Why is it that when us simple, useless, hopeless, clueless, faithless, loveless, arrogant humans, when we are in the biggest of troubles, we never think of relying on God, always think "we got it", think we've always got it all under control? Is it that we think we can accomplish more than God? Or is it that we know what's better for us, but we want to ignore it because it looks difficult? The biggest of our problems almost always consists in our lack of faith! We just don't realize it because we think that blessing our food, and thanking for shelter is going to gain us salvation. "I'm super faithful", say those who pray before bed, give thanks for their food, and don't hate the people that they don't know, but then cower before anything that they think can hurt them a bit, fleeing from it. Never learning anything, never proving their faith. Those are the people that exist in abundance, but are not what God really wants. Don't get me wrong, it's great to give thanks for all those things, but true faith has more to it. More confidence in eternal joy, and in salvation. We humans have to believe that God isn't just the god of blessing food, and helping you sleep. If you think that, well, think about where you're going in life. Many times have I said this stuff, given evidence of His greatness, so I think that our best option, as foolish creations of God, would be to try to find wisdom in God, and let Him tell us "I want you THERE, not HERE!".

¿Por qué es que nosotros simples, arrogantes, inútiles, sin esperanza, sin idea, sin fe, sin amor, nosotros humanos, cuando nos enfrentamos con los más grandes apuros, nunca creemos en depender de Dios, siempre pensando "nosotros controlamos", pensamos que lo tenemos todo bajo control? ¿Es porque creemos poder lograr más que Dios? ¿O es que sabemos lo que es mejor para nuestro bien, pero lo ignoramos porque parece ser más difícil? ¡Los más grandes problemas casi siempre consisten en nuestra falta de fe! Solo que no nos damos cuenta porque creemos que bendecir nuestros alimentos y dar gracias por asilo es lo que nos llevará a la salvación. "Yo tengo mucha fe", dicen aquellos que oran en la cama, dan gracias por la comida y no odian a esos que no conocen, pero después se esconden ante cualquier cosa que crean que puede dañarles un poquito, huyendo de ello. Nunca aprendiendo nada, nunca demostrando su fe. Esas son las personas que existen en abundancia, pero que no son lo que Dios quiere de verdad. No me malinterpretéis, está genial que déis gracias por todas esas cosas, pero la fe verdadera es más compleja. Tiene más confianza en gozo eterno, y en salvación. Nosotros los humanos tenemos que creer que Dios no es solo el dios de bendecir comida, y de ayudarte a dormir. Si piensas eso, pues, piensa en por dónde vas en la vida. Muchas veces he dicho cosas de estas, he dado evidencia de su poder, y creo que nuestra mejor opción, como creaciones necias de Dios, sería tratar de encontrar sabiduría en Dios, y dejarle que nos diga "¡Quiero que estés AHÍ, no AQUÍ!".
